The Angerona Cafetal is made up of the ruins of an old hacienda that was a symbol of the splendor of the coffee plantations of western Cuba during the colonial era. This was one of the first coffee farms in Cuba and is currently considered a National Monument
San Antonio de los Baños
This town is known as the "capital of humor", home of the International Biennial Festival of Humor, since the first Museum of Humor in Cuba is located in the center of the city, unique in all of Latin America.
The municipality is also home to the San Antonio International Film and TV School, founded in 1986 with the help of Colombian writer Gabriel García Márquez.
