Coral Reef

At a distance of one and two nautical miles from the coast, there is an extensive coral reef considered the second most important in the world and the largest in the Western Hemisphere. It is an extraordinary attraction for underwater activities and water sports.

Sea beds

The sea beds of this region have been cataloged between the most surprising by the wealth of their fauna, the fabulous marine structures and the splendid light that penetrates in unusual depths. These dive places are characterized by depths between 5 and 40 meters and these are a real attraction for visitors from Cayo Coco and Cayo Guillermo.

Shark shows

At Shark´s Friends International Diving Center, lovers of this practice have the possibility to participate in the shark shows at the entrance to the Bay of Nuevitas, with instructors and guaranteed safety, as far as possible. It is the most important show with bull sharks in the Caribbean, without accidents in 15 years.

The Buckets of the Máximo River

The Máximo river is born to the north of the city of Camagüey, crosses the sheets and weakens the eastern end of the Sierra de Cubitas to cross the coastal plains. Its channel is covered with limestone walls and bottom, which makes this beautiful site of the Cuban geography, an ideal place to enjoy with the family in incredible natural pools covered with trees and slopes.
