Covarrubias Beach
Its 10 km of crystal clear and shallow waters treasure the seabed where you can see both the richness of its coral reef and the important archaeological reserve in which the remains of boats from the time of pirates and corsairs lie. The area, with more than 21 dive sites, is perfect snorkeling or diving lovers.
Puerto Padre, the Blue Villa of Cuba
Port city where you can find some of the best beaches in the area, including Playa La Boca and Playa La Llanita, located on the shores of the beautiful bay. Puerto Padre also has the Antonio Guiteras sugar mill, the largest of its kind in Cuba, and a refinery that produces authentic Cuban rum.
Playa Covarrubias International Diving Center
The diving center located in Brisas Covarrubias Hotel offers diving classes, dives, boat excursions, Banana rides, or deep-sea fishing. From 21 dive points you can see coral formations, caves, colonies of black coral, sea fans, sponges and a great variety of tropical fish.
Cerro de Caisimú
It is located 124 meters above sea level, on the road that connects Las Tunas with Manatí municipality, in the north of the province. It is one of the main elevations of Las Tunas geography, characterized by its extensive plains. It was also the scene of numerous actions during the independence feats and is identified as a natural paradise of the geography of Las Tunas that is committed to captivating those who decide to get away from stress and live an experience that combines beauty, history and fun.
Museo Provincial Mayor General Vicente García
The most significant eclectic style building that stands in the Historic Center of the city. Declared a national monument of Cuba, this important property treasures evidence of the history and heritage of the province.

Plaza Martiana

Plaza de la Revolución Mayor General Vicente García
Gigantic square dedicated to Major General Vicente García. It presents a sculptural set, which summarizes the most important moments in the history of the province of Las Tunas, from 1868 to the present.
Vicente García Park
Located in the historic center of Las Tunas, with more than 100 years of construction, this park over time has become the center of the city and a regular site for Sunday retreats.
Antonio Maceo Park
The surroundings of this central park are nuanced by buildings from the beginning of the century. It has an obelisk about five meters high with a star at the top, in remembrance of the people from Las Tunas who fought for the independence of Cuba.
Rita Longa Sculpture Workshop Gallery
Art lovers will be able to admire the second largest collection of small and medium-format sculptures in Cuba with more than 200 pieces. In it, works by Cuban artists such as Rita Longa, Sergio Martínez, José A. Díaz Peláez, among others, are exhibited.
El Cornito
Named after the stream that runs through it, it was the birthplace of the poet Juan Cristóbal Napoles Fajardo “El Cucalambé”. It lengthens for almost eight kilometers until it ends at the cattle fair stands, the rodeo, the amusement park, the zoo, the botanical garden of the city and at the end, we find a cultural recreational center in the shade of a bamboo forest.
Monte Cabaniguán
Located in the south of the province, a protected area recognized for being the largest breeding ground for the American crocodile or Acutus. The admirer of nature can appreciate a great diversity of birds: herons, flamingos, and pelicans among others. You can also do sport fishing, there are species such as barracudas, snapper, wahoo and needles.
Lago Azul
Located 35 kilometers from the city Las Tunas, on the way to Covarrubias beach. With an approximate area of one square kilometer, the attractions of the environment are enriched by the services offered there: gastronomic offers, guided tours, rental of nautical equipment, among others.
Castillo Salcedo (Puerto Padre)
Today Fuerte de la Loma, a National Monument, was built by the Spanish as a defensive system. It functions as a museum and its towers display objects found in excavations in this place, as well as weapons and documents of the time.
