Coastal area at the east of the capital. It is a fishing village with simple people. It has natural, historical and sociocultural components; among them the Cojímar river, the beach, the valley, the vegetation, the Torreón de Cojímar, which belonged to the fortifications system of Havana, considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and a bust dedicated to the writer Ernest Hemingway.
