Yumurí Valley

Considered one of the most beautiful landscapes of Cuba. From the lookout of Bacunayagua, you can see all the splendor of the valley. There are tracings of different ecotourism trails, which lead to an old aboriginal settlement, a farm of flower crops and the inlet of the Bacunayagua river, where the visitor can take a dip, right at the mouth of this fluvial stream.

Varadero Golf Club

The first professional 18-hole par 72 course in Cuba. Its route reaches 6,850 yards (6,269 m.), on a land designed as an island with other interior islands. It is one of the best conceived of the circuit of fields of this sport in the Caribbean.

Josone Park

Josone Park extends over 9 hectares of land, almost half of the Hicacos Peninsula; it is a space that many people consider the green lung of the Varadero resort. Four restaurants and a typical Guarapera, where it is possible to taste a refreshing sugar cane juice as part of the services offered to visitors in this true haven of peace.

Sauto Theater

Founded on April 6th, 1863, declared National Monument. It is one of the most famous institutions in Latin America. The style of its architecture is neoclassical and is characterized by its magnificent acoustics.

Zoo-Crocodile Farm

Located in the Laguna del Tesoro in the Ciénaga de Zapata, it is the largest humeral on the island for breeding, and protection of two of the existing crocodile species: the Cuban crocodile and the American crocodile. It is one of the most visited and popular sites that welcomes a large number of domestic and foreign tourists who, before leaving, take a photo with one of the specimens.

Canimar River and Natural Park

Around the Canimar River, one of the deepest in Cuba, there is a park that invites visitors to enjoy its peaceful natural beauty with horse or boat rides or fishing and snorkelling excursions. The river flows into the bay of Matanzas next to the Morrillo Castle, built in 1720.
